Research Interests

I joined the Zallen lab with an interest in applying my background in soft matter physics to the study of how shape and form are generated in developing embryos. In particular, I am combining molecular and genetic approaches with quantitative imaging and biophysical tools to investigate the nature of the forces that drive axis elongation in the Drosophila embryo.
