Post-doctoral position available for highly motivated candidates with a background in molecular biology and/or genetics to join a research group interested in the molecular genetics of hematopoietic malignancies. Projects will include high throughput genomic screens to identify inherited and acquired mutations which contribute to the development of hematopoietic malignancies, characterization of candidate disease alleles using in vitro and in vivo systems, and development of targeted therapies based on insight into disease pathogenesis. Applicants should hold a PhD and/or MD degree and have strong laboratory and analytical skills. Experience in hematopoiesis/leukemia models, molecular biology, cancer genetics, and/or development of animal models is preferred.
