My lab focuses on understanding the integration and dysregulation of growth factor signal transduction pathways that are aberrantly activated in the majority of cancers. My current research centers on determining how the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway regulates itself and other signaling networks as well as the functional significance of this feedback and cross talk in tumorigenesis and resistance to PI3K/AKT/mTOR directed therapies.
