Postdoctoral Research in Computational Clinical Genomics

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a computational biology/bioinformatics background to join the Division of Translational Oncology in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Our research focus is on understanding the molecular bases for response to cancer therapy and applying scientific findings to clinical treatment plans. The candidate is expected to develop methods for integrative analysis of clinical and genomic data. Projects will involve analysis and interpretation of clinical sequencing data, particularly with an eye toward molecular diagnostics. This is a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment; good communication and organizational skills are a must.

Application Requirements


Applicants must hold a PhD in genetics, bioinformatics, computer science, or a related field. Publications in well-regarded peer-reviewed journals are expected. Programming experience in Unix-based systems is required and familiarity with scripting (such as Perl or Python) and R/Bioconductor is a plus.
