Talia I. Zaider, PhD

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in couple and family therapy. I help individuals, couples, or families who are struggling with difficulties in communication, decision-making, conflict management, or in coping with the general strain brought by illness. As a psychologist and family therapist, I provide oversight of our Family Therapy Clinic, housed within the Memorial Sloan Kettering Counseling Center. The clinic consists of a multidisciplinary group of social workers, psychiatrists, and psychologists who specialize in couple and family therapy. I work with this team to advance support of the family throughout the cancer journey. In addition, I provide supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy to individuals distressed by cancer-related issues.
