Research & Technology Management: Research Financial Planning

Research Financial Planning is responsible for the fiscal year budget of the Sloan-Kettering Institute. Research Financial Planning’s responsibilities include:

  • Ongoing financial planning for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s research enterprise
  • Administration of the financial operations of the Sloan-Kettering Institute, including guiding and training staff in fiscal policies and strategic budget planning
  • Directing Sloan-Kettering Institute’s budget process, operating principles, and maintenance requirements
  • Maintaining reporting oversight of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s institutional resources that underwrite the research mission
  • Assisting in the development of chargeback rates for Sloan-Kettering Institute facilities and financial models
