Debbie joined MSKCC in April 2008. Prior to that time she was the Research Integrity & Conflicts Manager at Weill Cornell Medical College. In her current role she is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the following: programs to educate and train the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center research community in the responsible conduct of research and other policies, procedures, and initiatives of the Research and Technology Management (RTM) division or other units; and mechanisms to communicate more effectively with the MSKCC research community (e.g., electronic newsletters, Web sites, etc.) in order to provide timely information in support of research activities.
Debbie is an active member of the Society of Research Administrators (SRA) and is an editor and contributing author for SRA’s Journal of Research Administration. She has a background in graphic and fine art, conflict resolution, and public education advocacy, and holds a master of science degree in organization and management.
