Tumor Microenvironment Network Pathology Core
Directed by Jason Huse of Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Department of Pathology, the TMEN Pathology Core assists our investigators by collecting, curating, and molecularly annotating human tissue specimens, including both fresh-frozen and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded samples. The core also provides histopathological expertise for the analysis of both human and murine tissue, and assists in the development and interpretation of relevant immunohistochemical stains.
Tumor Microenvironment Network Administrative Core
Directed by Desert Horse-Grant, the TMEN Administrative Core oversees the scientific, regulatory, and educational objectives of the TMEN network. In addition, the core provides fiscal management leadership, oversees the processing of brain tumor tissue for research, and fosters collaboration between the network’s faculty and trainees.
