hinckv@mskcc.org Vera Hinck is the second-longest tenured member of the Office of Technology Development. She joined the department, then known as the Office of Industrial Affairs, in 1984 as its third employee.
Vera first started work at Memorial Sloan-Kettering 33 years ago in what used to be known as the Personnel Office. After serving there as a benefits clerk, she moved on to the Employee Health Service. She then worked as Nursing Administration Secretary to the Director of the Medical Nursing Practice. Prior to coming to the Office of Technology Development, Vera worked in Biomedical Communications (the precursor of today’s Media Services department). She is a graduate of Hunter College.
