At Memorial Sloan-Kettering, our team of specially trained experts is working in our unique rehab center to better understand, diagnosis, and help patients who experience a loss of strength and/or mobility due to muscle, nerve, and tissue damage.
Michael Stubblefield, MD, leads a team of physicians and occupational and physical therapists who utilize the latest techniques and state-of-the-art technologies to guide patients as they work to regain their functional independence through a variety of approaches such as therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular training, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
Centrally located to the center’s outpatient facilities, Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s 22,500-square-foot rehabilitation center is includes a full gymnasium with advanced equipment, a simulated park that allows patients to practice walking and balancing on a variety of different surfaces, and more than a dozen private treatment bays for one-on-one care.
