Tony Corrao was only five years old when he was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer that develops in muscle and can also affect the bone. Corrao thanks his medical team at Memorial Sloan-Kettering and his family for helping him to get through chemotherapy and radiation therapy at a very young age. Since his treatment, Corrao has finished school and achieved many important life goals. He emphasizes the value of being a patient-to-patient volunteer to support children with cancer and their families during treatment.
