Karen D. Schupak has been appointed Chief of the External Beam Radiotherapy Service for the Regional Network.

Karen Schupak has served as the Clinical Director of Radiation Oncology for Memorial Sloan Kettering’s regional care network. In that role, she worked closely with colleagues to ensure that all treatments, clinical techniques, and strategies were aligned across all facilities. She is a board-certified radiation oncologist with a particular interest in the advantages that complex treatment planning and delivery techniques can afford patients with tumors in anatomically challenging locations such as the brain, head and neck region, lung, gastrointestinal tract, prostate, and extremities. Dr. Schupak received her MD degree in 1984 from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. She joined the Memorial Sloan Kettering faculty in 1990 after completing a residency in radiation oncology here.
