John F. Gerecitano, MD, PhD

I am a medical oncologist/hematologist who cares for patients with lymphoma. I have clinical expertise in both Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. My research interests focus on finding new treatments for patients with lymphoma. To accomplish this goal, I serve as the principal investigator on several phase I and phase II clinical trials aimed at bringing promising new treatments from laboratories around the world into early clinical trials. Many of my trials explore innovative ways to combine existing drugs with newer treatments in order to find novel ways to advance the care of patients with lymphoma. I am also a member of the Developmental Therapeutics Group — a team of medical oncologists dedicated to providing access to the newest phase I agents for patients with all types of cancer throughout the Memorial Sloan Kettering system.
