When I meet with patients and their families, they are often concerned about the impact that their disease and its treatment may have on their health and wellbeing. Through my many years of experience – I have been practicing since 1985 – I do my best to reassure them that we are equipped with the most advanced tools to treat their disease. We also have excellent resources to help manage any side effects. I am here to serve as a guide for my patients as they face a challenging time in their lives.

MSK is home to some of the experts and leaders in the field of CAR T cell therapy. This type of treatment is showing great promise in helping people whose disease is not responding to standard chemotherapy. Our team of experts is constantly leading clinical trials to look for more treatment options. As an inpatient specialist, it is my job to help identify people who might benefit from one of these trials.

When I’m not working, I enjoy exercising, reading, and playing the guitar. I also enjoy spending time with my wife, three sons, and grandson. We like taking walks in the park and the occasional Broadway show. I am the rare New Yorker who roots for both the Yankees and Mets. I am also a New York Giants fan and look forward to their return to excellence.

Insurance

Most major health insurers offer plans that include MSK as one of their in-network providers. If MSK is in-network, it means all our doctors are too. Medicaid and New York State Medicare also provide benefits for care at MSK.
