About Me

I am a cancer doctor, researcher, and survivor. I care for people with a variety of cancers primarily at Memorial Sloan Kettering Monmouth. I also see patients one day a week at MSK in Manhattan. My primary interest is caring for women with ovarian cancer, endometrial (uterine) cancer, cervical cancer, and other gynecologic cancers and researching these diseases.

I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a doctor. Oncology appealed to me for three main reasons. First, it is a very broad specialty that allows me to care for the whole person, not just a particular body part. Second, in cancer care, there is an unbeatable integration between the science and what we do in the clinic. And third, I wanted to be able to develop long and meaningful relationships with my patients.

After 15 years of caring for people at MSK in Manhattan, I’m excited to begin a new chapter at MSK Monmouth. I’m surrounded by an incredible team of surgeons, medical oncologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, and others in a beautiful and tranquil setting that’s convenient for patients. I find that when my patients’ lives are easier, they feel better. We offer a full range of services, plus access to cutting-edge clinical trials, immunotherapy, personalized medicine, and targeted treatments, all the while paying close attention to quality-of-life issues and symptom management.

On a national level, I have served on the steering committee for the Society for Gynecologic Oncology and on the medical oncology committee of the Gynecologic Oncology Group. I frequently contribute to and serve as an editor for the Journal for Clinical OncologyThe Oncologist, and other medical journals.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, Pilates, and riding my bike. I also love going to the beach and am looking forward to spending time at the Jersey Shore.

Clinical Trials

Research is integral to our mission at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and clinical trials help us discover better forms of patient care and treatment. For you, this could mean access to a new therapy or therapy combination. Click to see a list of the trials I’m currently leading.

Most major health insurers offer plans that include MSK as one of their in-network providers. If MSK is in-network, it means all our doctors are too. Medicaid and New York State Medicare also provide benefits for care at MSK.
