As Clinical Director of Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion on East 53rd Street, it is my responsibility to assure timely, expert delivery of care by our highly trained radiology staff in a caring and compassionate environment. Our technologists and nurses facilitate the process and assure your expert care.
My expertise is in body imaging, with a particular focus on computed tomography (CT) of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis, including CT angiography. Plain-film diagnosis of disease and DEXA imaging (bone densitometry) are part of my clinical responsibilities as well.
In addition to my clinical and teaching responsibilities, I read radiology scans as part of several clinical research studies. These include an ongoing project to evaluate the use of CT in newly diagnosed ovarian cancer, and in a second project to assess the utility of three-dimensional reformatting of CT data in patients undergoing surgery to remove liver tumors.
