About Me

I am a board-certified radiologist with specialty training in breast imaging, oncologic imaging, and nuclear medicine. This diverse training allows me to provide our patients with a comprehensive analysis of patterns of tumor presentation and extent of disease using different techniques.  I also perform image-guided needle biopsy of the breast under stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI guidance and ultrasound-guided biopsies of the thyroid.  These techniques help provide our patients with minimally invasive diagnoses while maintaining the highest standard of care.

Our patients often come to MSK after undergoing evaluation at outside facilities, with multiple prior imaging studies that require correlation.  My objective is to ensure an integrated interpretation of these studies and make evidence-based management recommendations.

As a member of the MSK faculty and the Breast Disease Management Team, I aim to optimize and improve image-guided interventional procedures, with a focus on innovative techniques that optimize patient care.

Fluent in Spanish, I am able to converse with patients for whom Spanish is their native language, facilitating patient-doctor communication.  My research interest is on breast cancer diagnosis and staging with PET/CT and MRI.

Most major health insurers offer plans that include MSK as one of their in-network providers. If MSK is in-network, it means all our doctors are too. Medicaid and New York State Medicare also provide benefits for care at MSK.
