Marina Rozenberg, MD

About Me

I have been a member of the General Internal Medicine service at Memorial Sloan Kettering since 2007. I work in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, providing perioperative care to patients who are anticipating surgery. This includes evaluating surgical risk, optimizing health status prior to surgery, and assisting the surgical team with postoperative management when necessary.

I also see patients in Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Adult Long-Term Follow-Up Program, which provides ongoing care for adult survivors of pediatric cancer, as well as survivors of certain adult cancers. Working closely with the survivorship team — which includes physicians, nurse practitioners, a social worker, and a clinical psychologist — I formulate a plan for screening and prevention of long-term complications that is tailored specifically to the cancer therapy the patient has received.

In addition to direct patient care, I am involved in research into the role certain childhood cancers and cancer therapies play in the long-term risk of obesity, insulin resistance, and lipid disorders.
