I am a board-certified medical oncologist specializing in treatment of patients with cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, such as colorectal, esophageal, gastric, and pancreatic cancer, as well as cancer of the bile ducts. In addition, I also specialize in treatment of patients with genitourinary cancers, such as those affecting the bladder, kidney, or prostate, as well as other solid tumors.
I participate in a variety of clinical and research meetings each week with colleagues across multiple divisions within MSK. Cancer research and treatment options are constantly evolving and we meet regularly within our specialties to continue learning and to ensure that our care mirrors the MSK standard for each disease type. During these meetings we also discuss individual patient cases and formulate treatment plans tailored to each patient. Research is an integral part of the care we provide and we are constantly evaluating whether our patients could participate in clinical trials in addition to receiving standard treatments.
I have been caring for patients at MSK Sleepy Hollow since 2006. It is a privilege to be part of the MSK mission, providing state-of-the-art, comprehensive, and compassionate cancer care. A diagnosis of cancer presents many challenges and we strive to work with our patients in a collaborative manner to provide excellent care in a convenient setting. In addition to all the services offered at MSK Sleepy Hollow and in the community, patients have full access to the all resources at MSK. Patients who choose to receive treatment in Sleepy Hollow benefit from the warmth and care our staff provides as well as the knowledge that their treatment recommendations are individualized yet adhere to same standard of excellence that is followed across the MSK system.
