About Me

I am a dual board-certified physician in radiology and nuclear medicine with subspecialty training in breast and body imaging. I am committed to providing superb and compassionate care to all my patients.

I consider myself an advocate for individualized medicine in an era where we are moving away from the traditional one-size-fits-all models. At MSK, I am privileged to work with many of the world’s finest oncologists, radiation oncologists, and breast surgeons. I am a member of both the Breast Imaging and Molecular Imaging Services, having primary responsibility in breast imaging.

As a breast imager, I offer interpretation of a wide variety of imaging modalities and breast imaging procedures. My specialization includes interpretation of standard 2D mammogram, 3D mammogram (also known as tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. I also specialize in minimally invasive breast procedures from biopsies to needle localizations. I value interacting with my patients and helping them get the care they need.

As a nuclear medicine physician, I offer interpretion of various PET/CT studies along with general nuclear medicine studies.

I have previously researched novel techniques in radiation dose reduction and artificial intelligence in breast cancer imaging. I am currently interested in researching novel molecular biomarkers in breast cancer imaging and screening of patients with high risk for breast cancer. I previously volunteered to participate in breast tissue collection for the Komen tissue bank to allow research into the molecular mechanisms of malignant transformation in breast cancer. I am a member of the Society of Breast Imaging, Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, and American Roentgen Ray Society.

Most major health insurers offer plans that include MSK as one of their in-network providers. If MSK is in-network, it means all our doctors are too. Medicare and New York State Medicaid also provide benefits for care at MSK.
