I am a fellowship-trained radiologist with clinical and research focus on breast imaging. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in the UK and the Faculty of Radiologists, The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. I am fully registered in the General Register of Medical Practitioners for Ireland and the Register of Medical Specialists in Ireland. I completed a one-year fellowship in Breast and Body Imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. During my fellowship, I gained extensive experience in the imaging of tumors in the chest, abdomen, and pelvis, as well as in breast imaging and intervention. I also became involved in the Breast Disease Management Team. While my clinical and research experiences include tumor imaging throughout much of the body, my primary focus is on imaging of the breast.
On completion of my fellowship in the fall of 2006, I joined the faculty in the Department of Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering. My clinical work is primarily in breast imaging, but also includes body imaging. In breast imaging, I am involved in interpretation of screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasound examinations and breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). My clinical work in breast intervention includes image-guided biopsy under stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI guidance and breast localization procedures with both radioactive seed and wire localizations. I enjoy working with our colleagues from the Breast Service in the Department of Surgery, the Breast Cancer Medicine Service in the Department of Medicine, the Department of Radiation Oncology, and other disciplines to provide high-quality patient care that is timely and compassionate.
I have presented at national and international meetings. I am a member of the radiology research committee and act as the Breast Intervention Coordinator. In this role I am responsible for biopsy protocols, infection control, anticoagulation/medication policies and for evaluating new instrumentation/biopsy devices. I am also responsible for coordinating the Radiology-Pathology conference and interventional QA.

Most major health insurers offer plans that include MSK as one of their in-network providers. If MSK is in-network, it means all our doctors are too. Medicaid and New York State Medicare also provide benefits for care at MSK.Learn more
