About Me

I am a board-certified family medicine physician who specializes in hospice and palliative medicine. This is also called supportive care. My focus is to support people with cancer who have difficult-to-treat symptoms related to their disease or its treatments. I work closely with my oncology colleagues to be an added layer of support for patients and their caregivers. I am also a part of an interdisciplinary team that includes nurses, chaplains, social workers, and pharmacists. Together, we ensure that our patients are supported physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Supporting a person’s quality of life while they are being treated for cancer is our highest priority.

I was drawn to the field of supportive care because I enjoy meeting and getting to know patients and their loved ones. I feel honored to be able to support them through a challenging time in their lives.

My research focus is on expanding access to supportive care through video telemedicine, specifically for people who receive their care at one of MSK’s locations outside New York City and for those who are unable to come in-person to clinic. I aim to explore how video telemedicine can meet patients where they are and provide convenient, effective supportive care.

Most major health insurers offer plans that include MSK as one of their in-network providers. If MSK is in-network, it means all our doctors are too. Medicaid and New York State Medicare also provide benefits for care at MSK.
