Join us for a virtual discussion with cancer survivor, MSK patient, and author of the recent New York Times Modern Love piece, His Comfort Is Not My Responsibility, Alexandra Capellini. The piece offers a reflection on her experiences dating as an amputee after cancer treatment. We will discuss Alexandra’s writing process as well as the many topics that come up for young adults after a cancer diagnosis, such as body image, dating and disclosure, and self-care. We hope you will take a few minutes to read her article ahead of time and look forward to an engaging conversation!
This group is for young adults (ages 18 to 35) receiving care at MSK.
