Division of Survivorship and Supportive Care

A Leader in Palliative Care

Nurse practitioner Nessa Coyle (left) and Paul Glare, Chief of the Palliative Medicine Service, work with a multidisciplinary team to relieve patients’ pain and discomfort at all stages of treatment.

Cancer survivorship embraces the full cancer-care spectrum, from diagnosis to final outcome, whether that outcome is cure, chronic disease management, or end-of-life care. The Division of Survivorship and Supportive Care serves as an integrated academic and administrative home for the practitioners whose efforts are primarily focused on the support of cancer patients throughout this care continuum.
