The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs organizes bimonthly orientation meetings for incoming postdoctoral researchers. These sessions were created to help ease the transition into academic life at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Over lunch, you will have the opportunity to hear presentations from key administrators about the academic environment and resources at the Center, and learn about the services provided by the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, the Research Computing Department, the Housing Office and the Library; our Core Facilities; and our Human Resources Department’s Work/Life Office.
In addition, orientation provides you with the opportunity to meet postdoctoral researchers who serve on the Memorial Sloan Kettering Postdoctoral Association (MSK-PDA). They can provide you with personal and professional tips on life at Memorial Sloan Kettering and in New York City. New and established postdocs are welcome to attend. If you are interested in participating in an upcoming orientation, please contact Denise Cruz in the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (firstname.lastname@example.org) or register online.
