Clinical Trials and Physician: Understanding the Steps to Increase Accruals to Trials

Upon completion of this free educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the importance of clinical trials
  • Understand the difference between the phases of clinical trials
  • Appreciate the long drug development process
  • Understand the ethical issues surrounding clinical trials


This course is directed towards primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and social workers.


CME Credit

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

CEU Credit
