Managing Neuropathy Symptoms with Acupuncture

Neuropathy is a painful nerve condition caused by certain chemotherapies. It’s symptoms include numbness, tingling and muscle weakness in the hands, legs and feet that can make everyday activities for survivors difficult to enjoy. MSK researchers and doctors are currently studying how acupuncture therapy can help reduce neuropathy symptoms during chemotherapy. Dr. Bao will review the causes of neuropathy, how acupuncture may help patients living with neuropathy, and the acupuncture services available at MSK. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
