Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation Online

Description

Learn the basics and feel the benefits of mindfulness meditation in a convenient online setting.
 
Meditation can be a way of doing something to care for ourselves and to take control of stressful situations. In this class, we learn a wide variety of practices and tools to build a personal relaxation routine which works best for you.  You will be taking an active part in improving how you feel and your personal happiness.  And by joining this evening group from home, your mind and body will naturally wind down before bed.

Audience

This class is for all people with cancer, caregivers, and cancer survivors. We recommend this class for anyone who is new to practicing meditation or other mind-body therapies.

This class is taught online through our distance education learning website.

You will need to use:

A computer with a high speed Internet connection, or a tablet, such as an iPad, or a smartphone.
 
Your device must have a webcam, speaker, and microphone. Note: if you do not have a microphone and speaker, please dial into the audio via telephone. Once you are registered, you will receive the audio telephone line.

Class Fee: There is a fee of $150 to participate in this workshop, which includes six online classes with a certified meditation instructor, exclusive audio recordings, and a mindfulness workbook.
