Mind-Body Techniques…Supporting the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender Community after Cancer

Current advances in marriage equality, transgender rights and Queer Theory are but a few illustrations of the individual and collective strengths of the LGBT community. Every thought and feeling experienced on this journey of liberation has also been a physical experience, as all thoughts and feelings are contained within the physical body and become encoded throughout the nervous system. This interactive and fun program will provide information and instruction on ways that mind-body techniques can help members of the LGBT community more deeply harness their inherent strengths to enhance life and recovery after cancer.
