Multidisciplinary Spine Oncology Symposium

Course Overview

The multidisciplinary series of lectures will provide information about the diagnosis and treatment of patients with spinal tumors. Surgical, interventional, radiation and pharmacological treatment options will be discussed. The course will consist of a series of lectures and case studies. 

Educational Objectives

  • Review the diagnosis and treatment of primary and metastatic spinal tumors
  • Discuss the decision framework developed for the treatment of spinal tumors
  • Provide an overview of the radiology, radiation and medical oncology, surgery and pain management treatment options available for patients with spinal tumors


This course is designed for physicians in practice and training, who are interested in advancing their understanding of primary and metastatic spinal tumors.


MSK designates this live activity for a maximum of 13 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Registration Details

Deadline for early registration is April 15, 2016.

Registration includes related hand-out materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks. Special meals are available upon request, including vegetarian, kosher, or gluten-free. Please let us know if we can assist you with special dietary needs.

Cancellation Policy

If you register for an MSKCC CME course and need to cancel your registration, please let us know by email at Up until the day before the course, you can receive a refund of your registration fee minus a $65 processing fee.  At any time, you may substitute another registrant in your place after contacting the CME Office with the relevant information.
