November is National Caregivers Month

The role of the caregiver is a complex one and the challenges facing the caregiver often go unrecognized. Please join MSK in celebrating caregivers at any or all the following events. All events are open to staff, MSK patients, and family and friends of MSK patients. All events will take place at Memorial Hospital (1275 York Avenue; New York, NY 10065) in room M-107 located near to the cafeteria.

Breakfast and Patient Representatives Presentation

Presentation by MSK Patient Representative. Light breakfast will be served.

Presentation by Allison Applebaum, MSK psychologist from the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science

Drop-in Mindfulness Meditation group, led by Melissa Stewart, LCSW-R

Dance Therapy with Integrative Medicine

Therapeutic dance-based activity led by a dance/movement therapist from MSK’s Integrative Medicine Service.
