Resume, CV, or Something in Between?

As scientists we are trained to write academic CVs that describe our scientific accomplishments, technical skills, publications, presentations, and awards.  However, for most jobs outside of academia, this type of CV is not appropriate.  In this workshop, you will learn how to prepare a compelling resume for nonacademic positions.  You will also spend time drafting a professional summary that will captivate hiring managers. Finally, you will learn to identify and write about your transferable skills.

Please bring a copy of a job description that interests you.  You will also need a pen or laptop.

Because space is limited, registration for this event is required.

This program is for the MSK postdoctoral community.
