This will provide a forum where faculty and attendees will engage in discussions and provide recommendations for developing and sustaining successful and productive careers in academic research.
The format will be small group discussions as well as lectures on topics such as strategic approaches to networking, developing strong and mutually beneficial mentored relationships. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear from a panel of faculty who are at various stages in their academic careers. Participants will also have an opportunity to network with other research colleagues and pre/post doctoral students from multiple disciplines.
