Tai Chi for Healthy Aging

Share

It is a simple yet profound truth that movement and activity are key for health and longevity. Incorporating the art of tai chi into your daily life will allow you to stay mobile and active for as long as possible. Through the regular practice of this gentle and flowing martial art, your strength, balance, and coordination will steadily improve, enabling you to move with more ease and confidence in your daily life.

This powerful combination of physical activity and moving meditation also helps calm the mind and relax the body, encouraging better sleep and regulating immune function. In this workshop, an MSK integrative medicine doctor and an MSK mind-body/tai chi instructor will discuss the scientific evidence and benefits of tai chi and introduce some basic movements for you to practice.
