When a Parent Becomes a Patient: Helping Your Family Cope With Your Disease

As a parent with cancer, caring for your family — and yourself — can be a huge undertaking. Dealing with all the challenges the disease can bring, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond, makes the task even more difficult. Join our experts and patients as they share ways to help children of all ages and other family members cope when a parent is diagnosed with cancer. Parents will learn how to ask for and accept help from others, hear about helpful resources, and connect with networks that offer practical support.

All CancerSmart talks take place from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
