Jeho Jeong graduated from the University of Missouri with a PhD degree in nuclear engineering and entered Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Medical Physics Residency program in 2012. At Memorial Sloan Kettering, he has performed research under the supervision of Joseph Deasy, Chair of the Department of Medical Physics. Dr. Jeong’s research interests include metabolic-state-based tumor response modeling.
Ziad Saleh, PhD
Ziad Saleh holds a PhD degree in space sciences with a specialty in the detection and modeling of energetic radiation. During his postdoctoral research at Washington University, in St. Louis, Dr. Saleh worked on developing mathematical models to better predict normal tissue toxicity based on dose-volumetric factors. Since joining Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2010, he has continued to work on normal tissue complication probability modeling. He has also investigated the accuracy of deformable image registration and its implication in clinical settings.
Ming Yan, PhD
Ming Yan graduated with a PhD degree in physics from the University of Maryland, followed by postdoctoral training at The Rockefeller University working on US CMS experiment. He entered the Memorial Sloan Kettering Medical Physics Residency program in 2010 and has performed research under the supervision of Andrew Jackson.
Alex Dzyubak, PhD
Alex Dzyubak obtained his PhD degree in physics and mathematics at the Kharkiv National University, in Ukraine, one of the oldest universities in Eastern Europe. Previously, he worked as an assistant professor of biomedical engineering in the Physiological Imaging Research Lab at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is the co-author of one international patent application in dual energy CT and of six peer-reviewed manuscripts. Dr. Dzyubak joined Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Medical Physics Residency program in 2011, and has performed research under the supervision of Gikas Mageras.
Rajesh Regmi, PhD
Rajesh Regmi obtained his PhD degree from Wayne State University in 2011. He worked primarily on investigating the application of magnetic nanoparticles in biomedicine under the supervision of Gavin Lawes. Also in 2001, Dr. Regmi joined the Medical Physics Residency program at Memorial Sloan Kettering, where he has performed research under the supervision of Gikas Mageras and Michael Lovelock. His research interest is the development and implementation of a procedure to correct intrafractional target motion during radiation delivery.
