Starting on or around Monday, July 2, MSK expects to begin construction work on E. 67th Street, which will require sidewalk and lane closures and the relocation of patient shuttles.
Safe pedestrian passage will be created on 67th Street and the entrance to the Haupt building is expected to remain open. Patients can continue to be dropped off at Haupt.
This work and the accompanying closures and modifications are expected to continue for approximately six months, ending in January or February 2019.
While work is being performed:
- E. 67th Street between First and York Avenues (east of the Haupt entrance) will be reduced to a single lane of traffic.
- Patient shuttle pickup and drop-off will be relocated to E. 68th Street between First and York Avenues.
- A section of the E. 67th Street sidewalk will be replaced with a temporary walkway that will go around the construction.
- Street parking on 67th Street will be limited.
Flagmen will be onsite while work is in progress Monday through Friday directing traffic and pedestrians. They will not be there during evening hours or weekends.
Thank you for your understanding while this critical work is performed. If you have any questions, please call your doctor’s office.
