The Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center provides pioneering, comprehensive breast cancer care, all under one roof. Our team of breast cancer experts offers the most-advanced services in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as a wide range of services to support you through treatment.
The Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center has been designed to create a therapeutic setting in which breast cancer is recognized as a treatable and often curable disease.
The Breast Center provides pioneering, comprehensive breast cancer services - including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and support - that go beyond the standard of care, all under one roof. The facility, designed to make the patient experience less daunting and to enhance interaction between patients and their care team, empowers patients to become active partners in their own care.
The design also reflects the evolving modalities in the treatment of breast cancer, including new diagnostic technologies, less-invasive surgery, molecular pathology, more-effective chemotherapies, new targeted treatments, vaccine development, and an emphasis on prevention.
From the warm, natural hues and natural light used to create soothing surroundings for patients and family members, to interior waiting rooms separated from busy reception areas and 20 private treatment suites in which chemotherapy is administered — as well as a drive-through entrance where patients may be dropped off and picked up away from traffic — convenience and comfort are hallmarks of the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center.
