After completing my oncology training at MSK in 2001, I joined the medical team at the Hauppauge facility, which was shortly moved to the brand-new Commack regional care facility. I practiced in Commack until 2006, when I became part of the team at MSK Rockville Centre. I transitioned to MSK Nassau, when it opened in 2019. Throughout my time at MSK, I have strived to provide high-level medical care to people with breast and gynecological cancers.

My colleagues and I offer a multidisciplinary approach to treating breast and gynecological cancers. We have access to new and advanced treatments in medical oncology as well as state-of-the-art radiation oncology. We also have expertise with many novel chemotherapies, targeted therapies, and monoclonal antibody treatments and access to all of the resources and expertise of MSK’s Manhattan location, but in a setting closer to our patients’ homes. 

In both breast and gynecological cancers, our disease management teams are using special DNA analysis to pinpoint genetic abnormalities that are specific to an individual’s tumor. The results of these molecular tests may help to determine which targeted therapies could be most effective for the patient in the future.

As part of our research efforts, we are actively enrolling patients in a growing number of clinical trials at MSK Nassau, allowing patients to receive the most advanced care closer to home in Long Island. We offer a warm, intimate environment, where doctors, nurses, and support staff collaborate with local physicians and facilities to take care of the medical, social, nutritional, and psychological needs of our patients.
