I provide nursing care for people with multiple myeloma and amyloidosis in all stages of treatment. I am also involved in screening, recruiting, and monitoring patients enrolled in clinical trials that are testing novel agents to treat multiple myeloma.

I joined Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2010 as a nurse practitioner on the Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Service. In addition to caring for patients admitted to this service undergoing autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplant, I provided clearance for potential donors.

Before joining the institution, I cared for multiple myeloma patients at different stages of treatment, including during apheresis and subsequent stem cell transplantation. Caring for people with multiple myeloma has been my passion since becoming a nurse practitioner in 2001. I strive to provide compassionate care and understand the needs of my patients and the complexity of the disease.

Over the years I have served the nursing community by precepting future nurse practitioners. In 2003, I received an award for being the “best preceptor” from New York University.
