In 2007 I started working as a nurse practitioner on the Rapid Response Team, and in 2008 I transferred to the Anticoagulation Management Service. I was one of the nurses hired during the pilot phase of this service when it was just being developed. Since joining forces with the Benign Hematology Program in 2012 I have been grateful for the opportunity to care for patients with a range of blood diseases and conditions, including those with thrombosis.
