Keo Pangan is a rising senior at the University of Notre Dame, double majoring in Applied & Computational Mathematics & Statistics (ACMS) and Harp Performance with a minor in Theology. After graduation, he plans to pursue graduate studies in biostatistics or statistics. His research interests lie in using statistical methods to analyze public health outcomes. Outside of academics, Keo plays mallets in the Band of the Fighting Irish, sings in the Notre Dame Liturgical Choir, serves as the principal harpist for the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra, and accompanies liturgies for Notre Dame’s Campus Ministry. Amanda Ferber is a rising junior at the Johns Hopkins University majoring in Computer Science and Public Health. She is a member of the Center for Health Disparities Solutions at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she has conducted research on racial disparities in health services utilization in gentrifying neighborhoods. Her research interests also extend to health information management and the implementation science of health interventions globally. She hopes to have a highly applied, data-driven career where she spearheads the implementation of empirically supported intervention models in low-resource settings and the reduction of known risk factors of poor health outcomes. After finishing her bachelor’s degree, she will pursue a MSPH in Health Systems at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. In her free time, Amanda is a director of a Baltimore community engagement organization, and she loves singing contemporary choral music in choir, listening to R&B music, learning about American Christian fundamentalism, and caring for her pet chameleon, Kendrick.
