Minorities are vastly underrepresented in cancer research. Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Immigrant Health and Cancer Disparities Service is working to increase the participation of minorities in cancer observational studies and clinical trials.
Our efforts include community and patient education and outreach; patient-centered support to facilitate recruitment and retention in clinical trials; and outreach to healthcare providers.

Immunotherapy Access Research Program
We partner with other MSK services, external hospitals, universities and community organizations to better understand barriers to accessing this treatment, and to develop and test interventions that will improve access to cancer immunotherapy for those who would benefit from it.
