During this rotation, the observer will be exposed to a wide variety of oncologic cases. The Molecular Imaging and Therapy Service (MITS) performs nearly 100 PET scans per day including clinical FDG, DOTATATE, PSMA, Fluoride PET/CT as well as over 20 research tracers and a growing PET/MR service. The observer will have the opportunity to observe clinical and research exams, as well as attend cancer-specific disease management team meetings and departmental conferences. Disease management team meetings emphasize inter-departmental discussions and include the role of molecular imaging in patient management.
