Our Current Residents
I was born in Ankara, Turkey, where I completed medical school and residency. I came to Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2012 for a nuclear oncology fellowship, after which I started a nuclear medicine residency. My interest in molecular imaging started early in my medical school years, when I explored how these techniques improved patient management. My research interests include new PET tracers, such as novel radiolabeled antibodies, and molecular imaging findings in rare diseases.
I was born and raised in India. After attending medical school, I pursued nuclear medicine at P. D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Center in Mumbai. I came to the United States to conduct research on newer radiotracers and worked as a research associate in Steven Larson’s lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering before joining the residency program. My research interests include the use of novel radiotracers in conjunction with PET technology to provide unique insights in tumor detection and therapy response assessment.
I graduated from medical school in Germany, where I also completed an internship and started my residency in nuclear medicine. I came to the United States as a postdoctoral research associate to focus on targeted therapies, including immunotherapy for brain tumors and in vivo imaging approaches. I joined Memorial Sloan Kettering to complete my nuclear medicine residency and to pursue my research interest in developing molecular imaging and treatment approaches for tumors, especially brain tumors, and in tracking strategies for cell therapy clinical trials.
Our Current Fellows
I was born and raised in India. Soon after graduating from medical school, I wanted to build my career in nuclear medicine and joined a nuclear medicine residency training at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. Recognizing the potential of hybrid imaging techniques, I pursued my radiology residency training at the University of Minnesota. I joined Memorial Sloan Kettering to further explore the therapeutic aspects of nuclear medicine and to sharpen my diagnostic imaging skills to provide an integrated approach in cancer diagnostics and therapy.
I was born and raised in India, where I completed my medical education. I briefly worked as a medical house officer at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in Bermuda. I completed a preliminary medicine internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia and a nuclear medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. I joined Memorial Sloan Kettering as a nuclear oncology fellow to gain expertise in PET/CT and radionuclide therapies.
I am originally from St. Louis, where I attended Washington University for my undergraduate degree. Subsequently, I attended Tulane University School of Public Health, where I obtained an MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Following completion of my master’s degree, I worked for the American Cancer Society as a cancer occurrence epidemiologist. It is there where my interest in oncologic imaging and therapy grew. After working as an epidemiologist for three years, I attended Saint George’s University School of Medicine. After completing my residency in nuclear medicine at Columbia University, I joined Memorial Sloan Kettering as a molecular imaging fellow. I am interested in analyzing population-based survival data in major cancers where molecular imaging has been used in staging.
I was born and raised in Taipei, where I lived until I was 12. My family then moved to Hong Kong, where I finished my middle school and high school education. I came to the United States for my undergraduate studies, double majoring in biology and biopsychology and cognitive science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I earned my medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Prior to beginning a nuclear radiology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering, I completed my diagnostic radiology residency at North Shore-LIJ Medical Center.
I received my medical degree after attending the Autonomous University of Guadalajara for medical school and subsequently completing the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Fifth Pathway Program. In pursuit of my passion for medical imaging, I completed a nuclear medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Currently, I am a board-certified nuclear medicine physician with special interest in oncologic and cardiovascular imaging. I recently joined the Molecular Imaging and Therapy Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering as a nuclear oncology fellow, where I plan to gain experience in molecular imaging and radionuclide therapy for cancer management. My interests include teaching and research for development of novel clinical applications for molecular intervention in the treatment of cancer with the aid of PET/CT and SPECT/CT.
