While undergoing cancer treatment, you may spend a significant amount of time at Memorial Sloan Kettering for appointments and procedures.

We invite you to explore our activities that encourage relaxation and provide distractions. Many are made possible through the efforts of our staff and volunteers.

  • Caring Canines: Dogs To Aid Cancer Patient Recovery
Since 2007, our dedicated teams of therapy dogs and trained owners and handlers have visited hundreds of people undergoing treatment for cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
  • Writing Program: Visible Ink
This popular writing program offers patients the opportunity to tell their stories within a positive, supportive structure.
  • Pediatric Recreation
If you are looking for fun activities for child, teen, and young adult patients and their caregivers, our pediatric Recreation Center coordinates group and individual programs that help kids focus on the power of their bodies, the strength of their imaginations, and the importance of laughter.
