The Dermatology Service of the Department of Medicine offers a clinical research fellowship that entails the supervised conduct of clinical and epidemiologic research related to skin cancer and cutaneous adverse events associated with cancer treatment. Recent areas of research have focused on the secondary prevention (early detection) of skin cancer with an emphasis on novel noninvasive imaging techniques, clinical and epidemiological studies on melanoma and cutaneous lymphoma, skin reactions to various cancer treatment modalities, and clinical trials. Fellows will participate in the extensive didactic and clinical activities of the Dermatology Service.
