Current Research Interest

Andrea’s primary collaborations at MSKCC are with the Genitourinary Oncology Service. She is the lead statistician of clinical studies investigating novel therapeutic strategies in metastatic renal cell carcinoma and relapsed/refractory germ cell tumor. Her research collaborations involve the study of early biomarkers of relapsed disease, cancer genomics and cancer survivorship. Andrea’s biostatistical research interests include survival analysis in the presence of non-proportional hazards and methods for handling incomplete outcome data in competing risks analysis. Andrea serves as a Co-Chair of the Biostatistics Protocol Review Committee (BPRC) which reviews and approves all investigator-initiated research protocols at MSKCC. She serves as a statistical reviewer for Journal of Clinical Oncology, Journal of the National Cancer Institute (JNCI) and JNCI Cancer Spectrum.
