I am the Pediatric Social Work Manager for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and MSK Kids. Within my role, I work with pediatric and adult patients receiving care from our pediatric long-term follow-up, pediatric clinical genetics, and adult radiation oncology teams. I provide counseling, as well as psychoeducational, navigational, and practical guidance, to patients and their families.
In addition, I help lead MSK Kids’ Towards Tomorrow bereavement program. I not only enjoy supervising and mentoring other social workers, but also supporting my colleagues at MSK across departments, to enhance staff coping.
I earned my master’s in social work at New York University Silver School of Social Work and joined MSK’s Department of Pediatrics in 2004.
