I am an attending physicist in the Departments of Medical Physics and Radiology.

When I joined Memorial Sloan Kettering in 1994, I was primarily responsible for installing, enhancing, and expanding the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to replace film-based prints of diagnostic images. I also led the initial program to replace our Radiology Information System and to implement speech-to-text translation for diagnostic reporting. These systems are used at all of our facilities.

I now play a role in the use of image processing and analysis for MRI, dual-energy CT, PET/CT, MRI/PET, and interventional radiology. My current roles include Project Director of PACS and Deputy Service Chief of Predictive Informatics.

I am a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine and the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine. I graduated from Harvard College and received a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.
